First of all, I LOVE the big pouch that gently supports my goods while the rest of the garment hugs my thighs and butt. It only took a few minutes to get used to the way the tightness of the backside sometimes slightly pulls the fabric between my cheeks. I also like how smooth the fabric is. And my wife loves them 😉.

However, when the description said moisture wicking and "keeps you fresh" I was expecting to stay bone-dry. Not that it gets actually wet, and even "damp" is usually too wet of a word to accurately describe the level of water. I'll admit I do sweat a lot, to the point that after a couple hours of summer attic work or a full summer day outside my budget cotton briefs would lose their elasticity from being saturated. On those days, these briefs will be better than budget cotton because they don't lose elasticity or get heavy, but on fall and spring days and even warmer winter days the budget cotton underwear would apparently absorb the entire day's sweat and odor, ready for more, but this rayon does a good job of wicking the sweat/odor to inside my pants. It dissipates by the time I zip up, but I never used to notice except on hot days when everything I wore got sweaty. Maybe I need more breathable pants to match? This isn't really a downside, I suppose, but I was looking forward to staying bone-dry all the time. That's my fault, though.
